Everyday Discipleship’s mission is to help resource you for everyday discipleship and see everyone in the church start to take the Great Commission personally.
So many of us sense that God has more for us than we’re experiencing. We read the Bible then look at our lives and it just doesn’t add up. I believe we can change that, and that’s why I started this site.
Who I am
My name is Grayson, and I’m a husband to Maggie, father to three kids ages 4, 2, and 8-months. I serve as the Pastor of Community at my church. I’m also a student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS), where I’m pursuing my M.Div. You can find out more about me on my personal blog.
What I write about
I love to read and write about Christian discipleship, or living out the practices of Jesus. Most often that comes out through my interest in the topics of discipleship, community, mission, and Bible study.
In addition to those topics, I read quite a bit for seminary, work, and personal interest, so you’ll find book reviews from time to time. I review books I read, regardless of whether they’re new or not.
The views and opinions expressed here are my own, and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer or seminary.
Around the web
I also write for other publications from time to time. You can find a list of articles I’ve had published around the web here.
Why I do this
I do what I do for one simple reason: I want to help resource people for everyday discipleship to Jesus.
When Jesus calls us to follow him, he means with our everyday lives. I want to help people start taking the Great Commission personally, and living out Jesus’ commands every day of the week.
